Residential Property
Emotions run high when it comes to buying a new house. As a buyer you want to feel secure about the process and what you’re buying. Our depth of expertise in residential property transactions of all sizes, ranging from high value properties to apartments, means we’re attentive to detail and know where potential bumps in the road may lie so you’ll always be prepared.

First Home Buyer Fixed Fee
We have now introduced a new fixed pricing policy to assist First Home buyers in budgeting for their first home. For a first home buyer (including those using their KiwiSaver funds and a homestart grant) $2,700.00 (including GST and disbursements) plus LIM fee.*

LIM fees for residential single unit properties are as follows:
A. Timaru District $450.00 ($715.00 for non residential)
B. Waimate District $370.00 (525.00 for non residential)
C. MacKenzie $353.00 ($450.00 for non residential, $650.00 for residential – urgent)

Commercial Property
We appreciate the importance of timeliness in commercial property sales or acquisitions. We aim to facilitate transactions at a speed that meets your expectations while making certain no detail is overlooked in the process.

Our experienced team have dealt with multi-million-dollar properties the length and breadth of New Zealand. We work to ensure the complexities of commercial property sales or purchases are professionally managed and that your immediate and wider interests are fully protected.

We can help you identify any issues, assist in completing due diligence on a property, offer advice on structuring an investment in property and the correct ownership for your situation, work on financing, handle settlement and deal with any post-settlement issues that arise.

We cover:

  • Property development and subdivision
  • Cross leasing
  • Commercial leases
  • Preparation and advice on building contracts
  • Residential tenancies
  • Refinancing

Whether it’s your first home or your dream home, we know that you want to know what the legal costs may be. As each purchase is different, please ring one of our property law team who can give you a competitive estimate of what our fees may be.

*Terms apply. Our package is priced on the basis that it is for the purchase of a residential property in an urban setting, with one mortgage, and that there are no issues encountered during the course of the transaction that incur substantial further time to deal with (for example, issues arising out of a building report or LIM where we need to negotiate a resolution with the vendor, or issues on settlement).
