She gets a great sense of achievement from a job well done. Specialising in Property and Commercial Law, Jenny’s practice areas include residential, rural and commercial conveyancing, subdivisions, leasing, company formation, trusts and asset planning.
Growing up in the rural Waikato town of Te Awamutu in a family with a Land Surveying business, and then marrying a Surveyor herself, has given Jenny a particular interest and innate understanding of subdivisions and land development. She enjoys working with her developer clients to achieve title issue and sale of the resulting sections in an efficient and timely manner.
Jenny is a member of the Property Law Section of the New Zealand Law Society. She also volunteers as a Trustee on the Aoraki Foundation and the South Canterbury Hospice Board and is a committee member of the Aoraki Women’s Fund Advisory Committee. Previous volunteer positions have included being the Chairperson of the Board of Governors of Craighead Kindergarten, a Trustee for Pleasant Point Primary School Board of Trustees, Deputy Chair of the Timaru Parents Centre and a Trustee on the Wanakafest Trust.
Jenny and her husband Jason have two children. She studied Law at Waikato and Otago Universities earning an Honours degree and has worked in Christchurch, Wanaka and in the UK prior to settling down in Timaru.
